Phil Pannill and Bryan Seipp, Maryland Department of Natural Resources, stand near the homestead area of the Czarra property. Smaller trees will be planted higher on the hillside to keep from obscuring the view from the farmhouse. Larger trees will be planted further down by the stream and near a pond which is an area of high wildlife activity. They will try to match the tree characteristics to the different parts of the site on an individual basis.
