Stream restoration at this highly visible farm site on Beaver Creek, a trout stream in western Maryland, included stream channel modifications to restore a more natural and stable configuration, vegetative bank stabilization, and adjacent riparian forest buffer planting. Working under the supervision of the county Soil Conservation District, assistance was provided from high school students and a local fly-fishing club.
