Volunteers Needed!
  • Videographers Needed - Volunteer your skills to bring the story of Growing Native to life! The Potomac Conservancy is seeking experienced or advanced amateur videographers to help document Growing Native activities, from seed collections to tree plantings. The video will be used for outreach and educational purposes. Individuals experienced with video editing also needed.

The best opportunities to gather live footage of tree plantings will be on Saturday, April 17, and Saturday, April 24, but Growing Native events will take place throughout the year.

Contact: Jen Schill, or call 301-608-1188 ext. 208.

  • Growing Native - is a year-round volunteer program that engages people of all ages in getting nuts and planting trees for clean water. By doing so, these volunteers learn the important connection between healthy, forested lands and clean waters! Native forests ensure cleaner water, healthier air, wildlife habitat, and recreational opportunities far into the future.

Growing Native is coordinated by the Potomac Conservancy, on behalf of the Potomac Watershed Partnership. For more information visit the Growing Native website.
